Practical Skills / Hands-On Experience:
Students will identify all the components of the Hyperbaric System.
Students will draw the gas lines from the compressor to the air bank and from the bank to the chamber.
Line up exercises and demonstration of a dry run of the unit Students will assume and act out the following roles:
- Inside Tender
- Operator
- Log Keeper
- Patient
Scenarios covering a variety of symptoms, chamber emergencies, exchange of inside tender as well as use of the medical lock will be carried out.
